This is what happens when we travel with Eko in the car and we inadvertently go over the rumble strips on the road...
... he goes from the very back of the car, all the way up to the front seat - even when that means he'll be sitting on someones lap. He's 85 lbs! Rumble strips make him extremely nervous and make him shake nonstop. When he shakes, he sheds. It was pleasant.
When Jon asked, "So, did you want me to pull over?" I said, "I have a dog on my lap, who's scratching up my legs... of course!!" Thanks Eko, for giving us a reason to stop at Lock & Dam number 5!
We avoided the evil rumbles the rest of the way home.

When These Two Collide
There is just so much to love about these two! I was thankful we took a moment at our cousin's wedding a few weekends ago to take this photo; it seems to capture their smiles and personality perfectly. I especially love how I can always count on smiles and laughter when they are together!
Our family photo turned out well too... even with Uncle Jeff's shadow photo-bombing!

Summer Moments
There have been so many fun moments this summer that I have not been blogging about! One such moment, was when Carl and I, with Uncle Jeff, Micah, and Kaitlyn, went to the Twins game. It was a hot day, so Carl and I decided to take a break out of the sun when who should we cross paths with... TC Bear!
Carl told me later that he thought I was going to leave him with TC, which is why he was acting shy, but he was actually really excited to see him! We made it all the way through the game and enjoyed every minute together. GO Twins!
