wondering which way to turn
I cry out loud a piercing wail
why oh why do my emotions burn?
the movement of back and forth is arduous
practically a trip on the slalom
every inch of me fights from stopping
a sled at this point would be marvelous
a more direct path to the bottom
but then... I risk my ears popping
