It has been a dream of mine (and Jeff's) to hike up to the tallest point in Minnesota. So it was an obvious choice to make the trek on this trip. We were excited and our adrenaline was starting to flow as we looked at the map and took our first steps up the mountain...
WOW! We drove by this as we headed to Sawbill Lake to depart on our week's trek into the boundary waters. One of our students even asked about it. How cool to think that you and I were so close.
