So some of you might be wondering a few things about Eme and me. First off, you're probably wondering why we haven't posted in a while. I realize we have a ridiculously popular reader following, but please bare with us...Second, you might be wondering where we are living. Thirdly, you may be curious as to what we have been up to and what our plans are. If none of these things crossed your mind about us then you're probably pretty normal. But, for those of you who are wondering...
Eme and I moved out of the house we were renting and are now living with friends. After a somewhat crazy summer (which isn't quite over), Eme and I have decided to move back to MN! Hmmm, you might be wondering why? North Park Seminary just wasn't right for me. I started taking a Greek course earlier this summer and it just wasn't right. There is WAY more to the story, but you'll have to ask us since it is really quite too long for this blog (although, historically, there have been some long entries). So we decided to try and transfer within Mortenson back to the headquarters located in Golden Valley, MN. Thankfully, there is a spot up there for me and Eme is in discussions with some directors and VP's up there regarding a position for her! There are a lot of uncertainties, but we do know our last day in Chicago will be September 26.
So there's the deal. We'll be back in town this weekend to meet with a few people in the Mpls. office, look at a couple homes, and to walk around the Minnesota State Fair.
I would be quite interested to learn if you wanted company on your state fair walkabout and/or discount tickets (if we could swing it).
