Thursday was beautiful and we just had to get out for a walk. I had called my sister about something else and then mentioned she wanted to take her boys to the local zoo to get outside and see a few animals. I thought it was a wonderful idea, so invited myself along. I'm glad she let me crash the party because it was so nice to walk around outside and see Brianna light up as we saw each animal. We nearly couldn't leave the first monkey cage we saw, she was so enamored.
There weren't many animals out yet, but that didn't stop us from checking everything out!
With all the walking we did, everyone was a little hungry. Time for a snack break!
Brianna is close to walking on her own. She still likes the confidence that one little finger gives. She got out of the stroller many times and walked beside me. You can get so much closer that way!
