We were up and...
Over the creek and through the woods to Grandmother's house we went. The tahoe new the way to carry the Bon's through the white and drifting snow. Oh!
We made it to Grandma and Grandpa's house by 8:15 to start celebration number two. We wanted to get there early so we could all open stockings and have breakfast together. Brianna and Carl had a snack in the car on the way just to help tide them over since breakfast for them is usually right away after they wake up. They did awesome all day adjusting to the slightly modified schedule. While we awaited the yummy egg bake to finish, we all opened stockings.

After stockers were unhung and opened with care, we had our breakfast. After all was cleaned up and everyone was ready... now it was time to give gifts. Oh, wait! First we needed to hand out gifts. I asked Brianna to help hand out gifts and she being the amazing helper that she is, was happy to oblige. THEN, it was time to open gifts. Youngest to oldest we all opened gifts. Carl was quite into opening his own gifts, and after a day of practice, he did well. He thoroughly enjoyed playing with his new toys!
Naps were had and then a perfect relaxing evening with family! Betsy captured another cute photo of the Jon and the kids watching a little movie on TV. All snuggled up together under the new spiderman blanket, just so cozy!
A wonder-filled, Christmas day! Thanks to everyone for making it so special!
